Canyon Crest Academy waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 55-51 W against the Oceanside Pirates. This was a revenge game for the Ravens: when they faced off against the Pirates back in January, they had to take a 70-63 defeat.

Canyon Crest Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Max Navarro, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zain Fadlu-Deen, who earned 11 points.

When it comes to explaining why Oceanside lost, don't look at Dylan Maruca. Despite the final result, he went 8-for-12 en route to 22 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Ethan Fernandez, who had seven points.

Canyon Crest Academy's victory bumped their record up to 11-14. As for Oceanside, they dropped their record down to 6-18 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
