Basketball Recap: Dundee Comes Up Short

Dundee lost to Madison back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings fell 39-35 to the Trojans.

Leading Madison to victory were Mariana Carbajal and Jaeda Parish. Carbajal shot 71% from the field to rack up 10 points, while Parish went 5-for-11 en route to 15 points and six boards. Carbajal continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Camylie Sower, who posted seven points.

Dundee's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Madison, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-7.

Coming up, Dundee will head out to face off against East Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Madison, they will welcome Ida at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
