Volleyball Game Preview: Narbonne Gauchos vs. Banning Pilots

The Narbonne Gauchos will head out on the road to face off against the Banning Pilots at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Banning took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Narbonne, who comes in off a win.

Narbonne took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Gardena as they made off with a 3-0 win.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-19, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Banning came up short against Carson on Wednesday and fell 3-1. The Pilots haven't had much luck with the Colts recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Banning was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Carson work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 26-24, 20-25, 25-18.

Narbonne's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Banning, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-17.

Narbonne beat Banning 3-1 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Gauchos since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
