Acalanes had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They took down the Concord Bears 66-50. The Dons pushed the score to 53-30 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bears cut but never quite recovered from.

Despite the loss, Concord still got an impressive performance from Devin Holman, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. With that strong performance, Holman is now averaging an impressive 8.1 boards per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Leonidas Garcia, who posted 13 points.

Acalanes' win bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Concord, they dropped their record down to 6-19 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Acalanes wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 75-65 victory against College Park on the 10th. As for Concord, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 87-44 defeat against Alhambra on the 10th.
