Soccer Recap: Seminole Takes a Loss

If Seminole was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Clearwater Central Catholic last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Seminole Warhawks lost 3-0 to the Clearwater Tornadoes on Thursday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Warhawks couldn't quite close it out.

Seminole's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Clearwater, the win got them back to even at 3-3-2.

Seminole will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on East Lake at 8:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025. East Lake is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season. Clearwater will take on Gibbs in a holiday battle at 8:00 p.m. on December 19th at. Clearwater is facing Gibbs at the right time seeing as Gibbs is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
