National Player of the Year Kyle Anderson headlines high school basketball's Top 50 from the 2011-12 season.

Each year since 2006, MaxPreps.com has recognized the Top 50 high school boys basketball players in America. Past honorees include NBA All-Stars Kevin Durant (2006), Blake Griffin (2007), Kevin Love (2006, 2007) and Derrick Rose (2006, 2007).

Selections are based on team success, statistics and local, regional and state honors from the recently completed season. Potential at the college or professional level is not a consideration. Players in post-graduate programs are not eligible for inclusion.

Added the only missing piece to his high school resume this season: A Class 5A state title. He piled up 25 points and 6.1 rebounds per outing.

Helped nationally ranked Sexton go 27-1 with a Class B state title, nearly averaged a triple-double at 15 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists per game.
