Football Recap: Ridgeline's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Ridgeline hadn't done well against Sky View recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Riverhawks really took it to the Bobcats for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-26 victory. Fans of the Riverhawks have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Leading Ridgeline to victory were Nate Dahle and Noah Fiefia. Dahle threw for 268 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt, while Fiefia rushed for 201 yards and a pair of TDs on only 14 carries. Dahle is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played. Ridgeline also got a significant boost from Hudson Parry, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 90 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Ridgeline was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 391 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

When it comes to explaining why Sky View lost, don't look at Jack Clark. Despite the final result, he threw for 327 yards and four TDs. The Bobcats' leading receiver Zachary Oxborrow was Clark's top target yet again, picking up 121 receiving yards and one score.

The win keeps Ridgeline at an undefeated 7-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.6 points on average this season. As for Sky View, they moved to 4-3 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Dahle and Brighton Reutzel. Meanwhile, Sky View will face off against rival Deseret Peak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
