Basketball Recap: Taft Falls Short of Narbonne in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Taft can now relate to. They took a 56-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Narbonne Gauchos on Thursday. The Toreadors just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

Taft lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jayden Thomas, who posted 11 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Those four steals gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Dickson Jr, who put up ten points and three steals.

Taft's loss dropped their record down to 10-19. As for Narbonne, their victory bumped their record up to 14-15.

Taft does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Narbonne has already played their next game (against Jordan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
