After low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Alpena brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. Everything went their way against the Alma Panthers on Thursday as they made off with a 13-7 win. The Wildcats not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 12th (when they won 17-9).

Alpena moved to 8-8 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Alma, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Alpena has already played their next match (against Sault Area), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Alma, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-3 defeat against Bath on the 17th.
