Volleyball Recap: Riverton Comes Up Short

Riverton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thunder Basin Bolts. If the Wolverines were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Bolts when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-11.

Alexis Taylor paced Riverton's offense, picking up five kills. Taylor got some help from Halli Weber and her six assists.

Riverton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Thunder Basin, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Riverton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Campbell County on the 29th. As for Thunder Basin, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Kelly Walsh on the 29th.
