Softball Recap: Olympic Trojans vs. Ballantyne Ridge Wolves
Olympic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Ballantyne Ridge Wolves, falling 21-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-2 back in March.
Olympic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Ballantyne Ridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-11.
Coming up, Olympic will host Ashbrook at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Greenwave have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.38 runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Ballantyne Ridge, they will square off against Berry at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
