Basketball Recap: Mineral Ridge Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

Mineral Ridge entered their tilt with Jackson-Milton on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 68-61 win over the Jackson-Milton Bluejays. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Bluejays back in January, they had to take a 58-47 loss.

It was another big night for Chase Moore, who posted 28 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Shaffer, who earned 14 points.

Mineral Ridge pushed their record up to 13-9 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points over those games. As for Jackson-Milton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mineral Ridge will take on LaBrae at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st. As for Jackson-Milton, they will square off against St. John at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
