            Softball Recap: Pitman Pride vs. Modesto Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            Pitman was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight  defeat. They came up short against  the Modesto Panthers, falling  6-0. Pride fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Panthers since  on Thursday.
Pitman got a good showing from  Elyssa Alcazar, who   tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Those  zero  hits allowed gave  Alcazar a new career-low.

 On the hitting side,  Keanna Haro made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  stolen bases. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played.
Pitman's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Modesto,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 6-12.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pitman beat the Panthers by a score of  10-5 later that day.
