Triton has gone 9-1 against Culver Community recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Trojans will head out to take on the Cavaliers at 10:00 a.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Triton took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over Oregon-Davis. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Trojans have posted against the Bobcats since April 5, 2018.

Max Johnson was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Johnson was even better at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Maddox Dennie was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. Ryder Goodman also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Culver Community came out on top against South Bend Career Academy on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run second inning. The Cavaliers beat the Trailblazers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-1. The Cavaliers haven't had any issues with the Trailblazers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Culver Community got a massive performance out of Jonas McCuen, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Caleb McCuen, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
The win got Triton back to even at 6-6. As for Culver Community, their record is now 3-8.
Culver Community's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Triton hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .349. It's a different story for Culver Community, though, as they've only averaged .224. Will they be able to contain Triton's hitters?
Triton took their victory against Culver Community in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 11-3 score. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cavaliers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
