Andrews is 8-2 against Fort Stockton since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Andrews is returning to their home field after beating Seminole on theirs, despite the fact Seminole has dominated at home this season. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 10-3 victory on Tuesday. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Georgia Lambert spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, Hailey Bowman and Alexys Cornejo did most of the damage at the plate: Bowman went 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI, while Cornejo went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most runs Bowman has posted since back in February. Addison Fields was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Andrews was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .394. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Seminole only posted a batting average of .214.

Fort Stockton not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 1st. They were the clear victors by a 15-8 margin over Pecos. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Andrews' victory bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Fort Stockton, they now have a winning record of 15-14.

Andrews came out on top in a nail-biter against Fort Stockton in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 9-7. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
