Basketball Recap: Basalt Longhorns vs. Fort Lupton Bluedevils
Basalt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 73-69 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fort Lupton Bluedevils. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (62), the Longhorns still had to take the loss.

When it comes to explaining why Basalt lost, don't look at Elias Schendler. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 31 points and 14 rebounds.
