Western Albemarle unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Culpeper County Blue Devils on Friday, falling 34-7. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Blue Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Western Albemarle will venture away from home to challenge Madison County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Culpeper County, they will challenge Eastern View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Blue Devils' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
