Auburn never let their opponents score on Friday. They breezed past the Smiths Station Panthers to the tune of 38-0. The high-scoring effort was just what the Tigers needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

A big part of Auburn's victory came down to the chemistry between Cason Myers and his top target Antonio Welch. Myers threw for 300 yards and three TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes while Welch picked up 139 receiving yards and three scores. That's the most receiving touchdowns Welch has posted since back in October of 2024.

Auburn has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.2 points over those games. As for Smiths Station, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Coming up, Auburn will square off against Carver Montgomery at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Wolverines have now posted at least 31 points in their last five games. As for Smiths Station, they will take on Dothan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Luke Sexton and Aj Alexander.
