Meanwhile, Tri-County North had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.2 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Greyhounds 72-36. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Tri-County North's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Stivers School for the Arts, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-6 record.

Things could have been worse for Stivers School for the Arts, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 68-52 loss to Tri-County North in their previous meeting back in November of 2023.
