Palo Verde is ranked highly in their home state and on Tuesday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Orange Lutheran. Palo Verde came up short against Orange Lutheran, falling 10-4. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Palo Verde saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Clauss, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and three runs. Brady Dallimore was another, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Clauss wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Palo Verde lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Palo Verde's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Orange Lutheran, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.
