Basketball Game Preview: Ohio School for the Deaf Spartans vs. American School for the Deaf Tigers

Having just played yesterday, the Ohio School for the Deaf Spartans will head out on the road to face off against the American School for the Deaf Tigers at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Ohio School for the Deaf knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully American School for the Deaf likes a good challenge.

Ohio School for the Deaf saw some tournament action on Friday. They blew past Pennsylvania School For The Deaf 63-38.

Ohio School for the Deaf's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keaton Maish, who went 9-for-22 on his way to 20 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Daniel Hager, who posted eight points and nine boards.

Meanwhile, American School for the Deaf didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Tournament Opponent on Friday, but they still walked away with a 39-33 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Ohio School for the Deaf's record is now 9-13. As for American School for the Deaf, their record now sits at 10-6.

Everything came up roses for Ohio School for the Deaf against American School for the Deaf in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 71-36 win.
