Football Recap: Mead Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mead lost against Gonzaga Prep back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers took a 31-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bullpups. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mead's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Gonzaga Prep, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Mead and Gonzaga Prep should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. The Panthers (ranked 38th) will meet Shadle Park (ranked 194th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Gonzaga Prep will face off against University at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (10 vs. 106).
