Football Recap: Winfield Comes Up Short

Winfield lost against Wright City back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors fell 14-8 to the Wildcats.

Winfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wright City, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Winfield is taking a road trip to take on Mark Twain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wright City, they will welcome Bowling Green at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season.
