Basketball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Mondovi's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Mondovi won the last time they faced Boyceville and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mondovi Buffaloes walked away with a 56-48 win over the Boyceville Bulldogs. Given the Buffaloes' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 130th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 265th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mondovi has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Boyceville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Coincidentally, Mondovi and Boyceville will both be playing Durand-Arkansaw the next time they take the court. Mondovi will head out to face Durand-Arkansaw at 5:45 p.m. on Friday, while Boyceville will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
