Football Recap: Denair Skates Past Le Grand with Ease + How To Watch

Denair extended their winning streak to five on Friday, bumping them up to 6-1. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 49-21 win over the Le Grand Bulldogs. The result was nothing new for the Coyotes, who have now won five games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Bryson Salazar produced another solid performance rushing for 237 yards and four scores on only nine carries. Thanks to that big game, he is now up to 13 rushing touchdowns on the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Degan Butler, who rushed for 111 yards and one TD on only 15 carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Denair was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 418 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

As for Le Grand, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-2 record. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered against Denair since September 14, 2018.

When it comes to explaining why Le Grand lost, don't look at Diego Martinez. Despite the final result, he rushed for nine yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 173 yards and one TD. A healthy portion of that aerial production (129 yards to be exact) went to Blake Lua.

Denair didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 24-23 defeat against Mariposa County on the 10th. As for Le Grand, they have also already played their next matchup, a 22-21 loss against Stone Ridge Christian on the 10th.
