Recap: Randolph-Clay Red Devils vs. Taylor County Vikings

After losing to the Taylor County Vikings the last time they met, the Randolph-Clay Red Devils decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Randolph-Clay snuck past Taylor County with a 40-36 win on Friday.

Randolph-Clay's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Te'Ahja Hardwick, who scored 14 points. The match was Hardwick's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jaeda Spann, who scored ten points.

Despite the defeat, Taylor County saw an underclassman step up: Jaydah Ford scored eight points along with 16 rebounds.

Randolph-Clay is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Taylor County, their loss dropped their record down to 11-2.
