Basketball Game Preview: St. Henry Redskins vs. Memorial Roughriders

The St. Henry Redskins and the Memorial Roughriders will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, St. Henry lost to Versailles at home by a 60-46 margin. While losing is never fun, the Redskins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 290th, while the Tigers are ranked 130th).

Despite the loss, St. Henry had strong showings from Brody Schwartz, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds, and Brayden Heath, who posted 12 points and five boards. Those 11 rebounds gave Schwartz a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Austin Zimmerman, who put up four points and six boards.

Meanwhile, Memorial came up short against Elida on Friday and fell 56-43. The Roughriders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Henry's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 5-16.
