Loveland had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt West Clermont on Tuesday. The Tigers blew past the Wolves 3-0. The win was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won seven contests in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Loveland took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12, 25-11.

Leading Loveland to victory were Ella George and MaKenna Kirlin. George had 14 digs and four assists, while Kirlin hit 85.7% for six kills and seven digs and seven aces. That's the most aces Kirlin has posted since back in August of 2024. Natalie Niese also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Loveland was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in six consecutive matches.

Loveland's record is now 13-2. As for West Clermont, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Loveland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Walnut Hills on the 24th. West Clermont has also already played their next contest (against Lebanon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
