Softball Recap: Clark Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Clark finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Reagan Rattlers. Considering the last time the Cougars couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

Clark's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Reagan, they pushed their record up to 17-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Clark is set to take on their familiar foe Johnson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Reagan will square off against rival Brandeis at 5:00 a.m. on Thursday.
