Softball Recap: Indiana Comes Up Short

Indiana suffered their biggest defeat since March 28th on Thursday. They came up short against the Punxsutawney Chucks, falling 11-1. The Little Indians have struggled against the Chucks recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Indiana saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maggie Cunningham, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Indiana now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Punxsutawney, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Indiana does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Punxsutawney, they will host DuBois at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
