Softball Recap: Crandall Has No Trouble Against Belton

Crandall gave up the first runs on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Belton Tigers. Considering the Pirates have won 14 contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Crandall and bumps their season record up to 21-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Belton, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-15.

Crandall will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
