Basketball Recap: Lake Oswego Takes a Loss

Lake Oswego lost against Tualatin back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lake Oswego Lakers took a blow against the Tualatin Timberwolves, falling 74-27. While losing is never fun, the Lakers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Timberwolves are ranked second).

Lake Oswego's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5. As for Tualatin, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Oswego has already played their next contest (against West Linn), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Tualatin will take on Tigard at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Tualatin's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.
