Baseball Recap: Hopi Comes Up Short

Hopi was the 12-11 winner over Valley when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bruins fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 11-9 on Monday.

Hopi has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Valley, the victory snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 3-11 record.

Looking ahead, Hopi will challenge Many Farms at 2:00 p.m. on the 23rd. The Bruins are facing the Lobos at the right time seeing as the Lobos are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Valley, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-2 loss against St. Johns on the 16th.
