Softball Recap: North Decatur Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for North Decatur's offense. They lost 14-0 to the Greensburg Pirates on Tuesday. The Chargers have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

North Decatur's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Greensburg, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

When North Decatur and Greensburg next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Chargers will face off against Edinburgh and their three-game winning streak at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Greensburg will try to stop Lawrenceburg's six-game winning streak when they meet at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Pirates 1.2, the Tigers 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
