Volleyball Preview: Dunlap Eagles vs. Metamora Redbirds
Dunlap hasn't had much luck against Metamora recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Eagles will challenge the Redbirds at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last three times Dunlap and Morton have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Potters. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since September 6th.
If you add up the scores from across all three sets (76-71) Dunlap actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 29-27, 26-24.
