Riley Warren commands the offense for Patriots win

Recap: Southern Alamance Patriots vs. Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves

On Tuesday, the Southern Alamance Patriots's game was all tied up 22-22 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They managed a 52-47 win over Cedar Ridge. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Southern Alamance also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Southern Alamance got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Riley Warren out in front who scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Warren has scored all season. Jordan Moore was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Cedar Ridge's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braeden Wilbourn, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Dalehite, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds.

Southern Alamance's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Cedar Ridge, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.

Southern Alamance will be playing in front of their home fans against Person at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Person is coming into the match with four straight victories on the road, so Southern Alamance is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Cedar Ridge, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Orange at 7:00 p.m. Orange will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Cedar Ridge surely won't give up without a fight.
