Softball Recap: Rancho Takes a Loss

If Rancho was riding high fresh off their 15-0 takedown of Pinecrest Academy Cadence on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams lost 17-1 to the Spring Valley Grizzlies on Tuesday. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Grizzlies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Rancho's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Spring Valley, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-8 record.

Rancho didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 18-0 victory against Desert Pines on the 23rd. As for Spring Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 18-0 win against Eldorado on the 23rd.
