Soccer Recap: Roma Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Edinburg North, Roma was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Grulla Gators a 1-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Gladiators also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2019.

Roma now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for Grulla, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roma will venture away from home to take on Mission Veterans Memorial at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grulla, they are taking a road trip to challenge Vanguard Academy Mozart at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
