Basketball Recap: Whitesboro Comes Up Short

Whitesboro suffered their biggest loss since November 21, 2024 on Friday. They were outmatched by the Red Oak Eagles and fell 68-35. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 59-28 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Whitesboro and nudges their season record down to 5-7. As for Red Oak, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitesboro will challenge Poteau at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Whitesboro is facing Poteau at the right time seeing as Poteau is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Red Oak, they will take on Kinta at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
