Soccer Game Preview: Jay County vs. Yorktown

The Jay County Patriots will take on the Yorktown Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jay County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

Yorktown will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Jay County extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. The Patriots' defense stepped up to hand Muncie Central a 9-0 shutout. It was an even better day for London Lloyd as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Yorktown came up short against Shelbyville on Saturday and fell 4-2. Yorktown have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Yorktown's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-1. As for Jay County, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4-1.
