Softball Recap: Collegium Charter Takes a Loss

Collegium Charter scored the most runs they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against the Faith Christian Academy Lions, falling 15-2. The defeat leaves the Cougar still looking for their first win of the season.

Collegium Charter saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hannah Quinn, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one double and one RBI. Jorja Quinn was another, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Collegium Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Faith Christian Academy, they moved to 2-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Collegium Charter will challenge The Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Christian Academy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.25 runs per game on average), something Collegium Charter will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Faith Christian Academy, they will head out to challenge Pennridge at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
