Soccer Recap: A.C. Flora Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

A.C. Flora won the last time they faced Richland Northeast and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Falcons had just enough and edged out the Cavaliers 2-1. The final result isn't all the surprising considering A.C. Flora's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 24th, while Richland Northeast are ranked 100th).

Shep Huggins and Hollis Craven scored both of A.C. Flora's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

A.C. Flora pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four matches. As for Richland Northeast, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A.C. Flora will welcome Camden at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. A.C. Flora are facing Camden at the right time seeing as Camden are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Richland Northeast, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dreher at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dreher's last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
