Middleton extended their postseason success on Friday against Mountain Home. They came out on top against the Mountain Home Tigers by a score of 60-51. The win was familiar territory for the Vikings, who have now won 21 contests in a row.

Zoey Blackwell continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 9-for-18 en route to 23 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 14 games she's played. Miley Steele was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 12 points and nine boards.

Middleton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 15 offensive boards in four consecutive games.

Middleton's victory bumped their record up to 25-1. As for Mountain Home, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-5.

Looking ahead, Middleton won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Pocatello at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Middleton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 contests -- so hopefully Pocatello likes a good challenge. As for Mountain Home, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against Blackfoot at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Blackfoot will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Mountain Home surely won't give up without a fight.
