Baseball Recap: Waller Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Waller's offense. They came up short against the Montgomery Bears on Thursday, falling 7-0. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 8-1 to the Bears when the teams met back in February of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Waller and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for Montgomery, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2-1 record this season.

Waller will be taking part in a tournament against Tompkins at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Montgomery, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Santa Fe at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
