Hazel Green was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 28-0 loss at the hands of the Athens Golden Eagles. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Trojans were not able to get on the board.

Hazel Green's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Athens, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Hazel Green will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lee at 7:00 p.m. on October 9. As for Athens, they will welcome Muscle Shoals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Eagles will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups.
