Basketball Recap: Plano Has No Trouble Against Harvard

Plano won against Johnsburg last Friday with 65 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. The Plano Reapers put the hurt on the Harvard Hornets with a sharp 65-45 win. Given the Reapers' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 337th, while the Hornets are ranked 714th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Plano is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Harvard, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-12.

Plano has already played their next game, a 53-39 loss against Richmond-Burton on the 25th. As for Harvard, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 81-42 defeat against Johnsburg on the 25th.
