Volleyball Recap: Gadsden Takes a Loss

Gadsden managed to slip by Mayfield the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Trojans on Thursday. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured ten defeats in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16, 25-16.

Isobella Munker was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had four digs and two aces.

Gadsden's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Mayfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Gadsden didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Alamogordo on the 21st. As for Mayfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Organ Mountain on the 21st.
