Basketball Recap: Wissahickon Takes a Loss

Wissahickon lost a heartbreaker to Central Bucks West when they met back in January of 2018, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. The Wissahickon Trojans took a 52-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Bucks West Bucks. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Bucks: they've now lost three in a row.

Wissahickon's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Central Bucks West, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wissahickon won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Central at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Central has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests. As for Central Bucks West, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against North Penn at 7:00 p.m.
