Volleyball Recap: Algoma Comes Up Short

Algoma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Sheboygan Christian Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-20.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sheboygan Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sofia Rodriguez, who had seven digs and five assists.

Algoma's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Sheboygan Christian, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-1.

Algoma wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah on the 25th. As for Sheboygan Christian, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Heritage Christian on the 25th.
