Volleyball Recap: Algoma Comes Up Short

Algoma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Sheboygan Christian Eagles. The Wolves were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20.

Sheboygan Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sofia Rodriguez, who had seven digs and five assists.

Algoma's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Sheboygan Christian, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-1.

Algoma didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah on the 25th. As for Sheboygan Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Heritage Christian on the 25th.
