Softball Recap: Chaska Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jefferson, Chaska was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the New Prague Trojans 7-6. This was payback for the Hawks, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Chaska let Sophia Bixler and Laney Farm run wild. Bixler scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances, while Farm scored a run while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave Farm a new career-high. Ellie Scott was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.

The win got Chaska back to even at 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chaska is set to square off against their familiar foe Chanhassen at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, New Prague will take on rival St. Louis Park at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
